Hiring Officials 2021-2022 Season!

***Thank you everyone for the amazing amount of applications, we have had to close recruiting at this time due to the limited number of spaces available for new officials this year.***

Do you have a passion for hockey? Do you want to be an integral part of keeping minor hockey safe, fair and most importantly fun? You're in luck, the Greater Petawawa Referee Association is looking to hire officials for the 2021-2022 Season!

 

We are looking for current minor hockey players, with the youngest being in the 2008 year (U14 or Minor Bantam), however there are limited opportunities for some 2009 aged players to start their officiating career early. We are also hiring adults, young or old, who want to give back to the game we all love.

If you're interested, please fill out this Google Form: https://forms.gle/LnCWNvj4vYhbei8y7, your personal information will only be visible by the RIC and you will be contacted by email once we have confirmed the ice time availability for our "tryout" skate. As stated in the FAQ, this tryout is only to make sure you've got the skating ability to stay safe on the ice and get you into position to make the right call. Once that is completed and you're accepted, I'll contact you to get you started on the registration process for the Hockey Online courses.
