I just want to clarify some information about how to fill out proper contact tracing forms at every ice time. I am posting a paragraph from the Civic Centre explaining in detail.

Please note how these lists will be used:  RCDHU staff attempt to trace back the whereabouts of positive cases, particularly if  someone has been out and about in public.  If they identify your user group and the Civic Centre Arena as a possible place of exposure, they will take these lists to contact everyone deemed as a possible exposure.

Thus, some items regarding the attendance lists:

·   ANYONE who enters the facility during your rental/time frame must be accounted for. This includes on-ice and off-ice: skaters, spares, coaches, guest coaches, trainers, referees, timekeepers, scorekeepers, evaluators, spectators, parents, guardians instead of parents, spouses, etc.  ANYONE!!

·   Lists should be clearly labeled with:

o   Date

o   Times

o   Group info: group name and/or complete team name: division, tier, bubble, team #, etc.

o   Names AND phone numbers – written legibly or typed in a reasonable font size

This info needs to be on the lists themselves and not solely in the email subject line or body.  (The RCDHU staff will not see the emails.)

·   If possible, put the main contact at the top or clearly highlighted/indicated.

·   Turn-around time:  please aim to have lists submitted within 1 day of the ice time.  Ideally, lists should be handed in or images sent in on the spot, or by that night please. This will help limit the chasing on our end.

Overall, imagine the strain on the RCDHU staff over the past 8 months – the more we can do to help them with well-labelled and timely lists, the better.

If they are being hand written please just have the manager write it in neatly.
Please send a photo that is clear to both Sandra from the Civic Centre and myself for every ice time. our emails are

Just to be clear this is mandatory!! If teams do not submit these properly ice time will be taken away. we all want to continue to have the kids play hockey, so we all need to work together.

Just a few points to clarify

25 people on the ice
25 people in the stands
1 parent or guardian per ice time no exceptions
Players need to dress at home or in the parking lot, except for skates, helmet and gloves.
Goalies may dress at the arena
Masks must be worn in the arena at all times until going on the ice
No SPEEDING driving into the parking lot. we do not want any accidents with other vehicles or the zamboni. The Civic Centre will take your license plate and contact you directly.
