Having finished 1st in the Round Robin, the Nightmares faced the 4th place Leitrim Hawks once again. While unable to keep the shutout streak alive, the Nightmares did come away with a 2-1 victory to move on to the Finals, where they would face the tournaments other undefeated team, Futures Landscaping (Sudbury). The game went back and forth as the Nightmares gave up the first goal of the game, to trail for the first time all tournament. Kaden Thompson answered with a goal late in the first period to tie the game a one. The second period saw the Nightmares jump out to a two-goal lead with tallies from Joel Fowler and Scotty Simiana, however the lead would not last as Futures Landscaping would come back to tie the game with less than two minutes in regulation and force overtime. It took the Nightmares a minute and 48 seconds to end it in overtime as Tristan Cote found himself with the puck in front of the opposing net with room to shoot. And he did just that, beating the goaltender on his glove side to seal the victory for the Petawawa Nightmares.
